Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to help your child develop habits of observation, questioning, and listening. It gives the child awareness of
their own feelings and of their right to express those feelings, every child learns that they are free to make choices and encouraged to begin making decisions which will be the foundation of his or her future.
We are dedicated to providing a caring, nurturing environment for children. Our curriculum includes activities to meet the developmental needs of the children that reinforces opportunities for growth and development. We also include health and safety, physical, emotional, cognitive and social development. We offer opportunities for problem solving and success in everything a child may attempt.
We provide a nutritional lunch. We serve a mid-morning and afternoon snack every day. This encourages children to learn appropriate table manners and socialization skills.
We provide hands-on experiences for children. Children must see, hear, smell, touch, and feel the world around them in order to understand the world. A child learns through play. We believe playing is learning and that learning is fun.
Kids Incorporated Learning Centers believes parents are one of the most important influences in a young child’s life. Our teachers maintain daily communication with the parents and include them in each aspect of their child’s development, making them aware of the child’s accomplishments. Our parents and teachers communicate openly and freely for the mutual benefit of the children. We value parent input and suggestions.
Our teachers strive to be good role models for the children. Children learn by observing the people around them, therefore we must set good examples. Each teacher at Kids Incorporated Learning Centers plans activities for their classrooms while being aware of individual needs of each child. We believe in positive methods of discipline.
The program we pursue is geared toward helping the child develop habits of observation, questioning and listening. It gives the child awareness of their own feelings and of their right to express those feelings by sometimes channeling them into other means of expression. The child learns that he or she is free to make choices. The child begins to make decisions that will be the foundation of his or her future.
