Letter From The Founder

Dear Families,

Thank you for choosing Kids Incorporated Learning Centers to care for your
precious children. I would like to share the history and foundation of Kids
Incorporated so you can understand what makes us such a unique center and
the right choice for you and your children.

In 1972 I began my career as a classroom teacher for Mesa Public Schools, I
served as head teacher and was involved in the planning and opening of
elementary schools in the Mesa District. I went on to become a basic skills
specialist & coordinated summer school programs in the Tempe School District.
After having 4 children of my own I decided to open a childcare center where
children could have an exciting environment to learn and play while preparing
them for elementary school.

The first Kids Incorporated Learning Center opened in 1988 as an on-site
childcare center for the employees of Mesa Lutheran Hospital.

Currently I have put over 40 years of education, including a masters degree in
education from ASU, knowledge and experience inthe field of education and child
development to create a childcare center with age appropriate activities for
children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Now I am proud to say my grandchildren are
attending Kids Incorporated Learning Centers and building a strong foundation
for their future education. Kids Incorporated is dedicated and committed to
proving the finest quality childcare. Our program integrates all aspects of a
child’s development. Our activities and experiences positively contribute to
the developmental needs of a child.

Our curriculum shall include reading readiness, math, language development,
science, creative expression, music, arts & crafts, special projects and much
more.

From my family to yours we welcome you to Kids Incorporated and look forward
to many great experiences together.

Sincerely,
Jeanie Smith
